Subtract the 5cos(x)=>3sin(x)=-5cos(x) Divide by -5cos(x)=> (-3/5)tan(x)=1 Multiply by -5/3=>tan(x)=-5/3=>x=arctan(-5/3)

3 sin x + 5 cos x = 0
3 sin x = - 5 cos x /: cos x ( divide both sides by cos x )
3 sin x / cos x = - 5
3 tan x = - 5
tan x = -5/3
x = arc tan (-5/3)
x ≈ - 59.036°
