x+y=3 is equal to 2x+2y=6
subtracting the equations
2x+2y=10 - 2x+2y=6
which results 0 = 4
which is not possible

x + y = 3
2 x + 2 y = 10
----------------------
The substitution: y = 3 - x
2 x + 2 ( 3 - x ) = 10
2 x + 6 - 2 x = 10
0 * x = 10 - 6
0 * x = 4
There are no solutions for this system of equations.
x , y ∈ ∅
