Answer:

3a^3+4a^2-1a+5

Explanation:

Add the following polynomials:

3a^3 + 8a - 6 \ and\  4a^2 - 9a + 11

To add the polynomials we combine like terms

3a^3 + 8a - 6 + 4a^2 - 9a + 11

The terms with same variables are like terms

8a and -9a are like terms

8a - 9a = -1a

-6 +11= 5

3a^3 + 8a - 6 + 4a^2 - 9a + 11=3a^3+4a^2-1a+5
