The value of z that makes the inequality true is;

z\text{ = 4}

To get the correct value of z out of the options that make the inequality true, we have to solve the inequality by isolation z on the left hand side

Thus, we have this by dividing both sides of the inequality by the coefficient of z which is 8 in this case

Thus, we have that;

\begin{gathered} (8z)/(8)>(28)/(8) \\ \\ z\text{ > }(7)/(2) \\ \\ z\text{ > 3.5} \end{gathered}

Thus, the value of z that we shall be selecting from the list of options will be such that it will be greater than 3.5

From the list of option, the only value we have greater than 3.5 is 4

Thus, z = 4 is our answer
