15 rides. You start by subtracting 13 from 35. so 35-12=22.5.
Then to figure out how many rides will take the rest of your money, just divide 22.50 by 1.50. so 22.50/1.50=15

$35.50-$13=$22.50
$22.50/$1.50=15 rides
