Since a typical smelt has 1.04 ppm of PCB is great lakes. So the amount of PCB in a smelt in great leak can be calculated by multiplying the mass of smelt by the pcbs present in a smelt

225 g * ( 1.04/100000) = 2.34 x10^-4 g pcbs
