The end of Mitosis ends with 2 complete identical cells. Mitosis happens in most places in the body like skin. Meiosis ends with 4 cells with half the number of chromosomes. Meiosis only happens in the sex cells i.e. sperm and eggs.

Mitosis and Meiosis start the same but Mitosis will end with the create of two complete cells. Where as Meiosis will end in the making of two gametes.
