The answer is 216 miles. 1.5 hours is 90 minutes. Multiply 2.4 times 90.

1.5 hours = 90 minutes

2.4/10 = x/90
10x = 2.4(90) ...cross multiply
10x = 216
x = 216/10
x= 21.6

answer: 21.6 miles in 1.5 hours
