The dimension of the rectangle prism is : 3 1/2 mm , 9 mm and 8 1/2 mm

Express the mixed fraction into decimal :

\begin{gathered} 3(1)/(2)=(3*2+1)/(2) \\ 3(1)/(2)=(7)/(2) \\ 3(1)/(2)=3.5 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} 8(1)/(2)=(8*2+1)/(2) \\ 8(1)/(2)=(17)/(2) \\ 8(1)/(2)=8.5 \end{gathered}

So, the dimensions are : 3.5mm , 9mm & 8.5mm

Volume of the prism = Length x Breadth x Height

Susbtitute the value and simplify :

Volume of the prism = ( 3.5 x 9 x 8.5 ) mm

Volume of the prism = 267.75 mm
