You are incorrect because if you actually do the division, you should have gotten 6r4 because if you do 40/6 you would see how many times 6 would go into 40 which is 6 times and then multiply 6x6 which is 36 and then after that, subtract 40 from 36 which would give you 4 and see if 6 can go into 4 and can it. The answer is no because 6 isn't divisible by 4 and so four would be your remainder or leftover and so the answer to your question would be 6r4.
