the equation is this

5/6 = X/24

to be equal the numerator of both sides have to be the same and so does the denominator, so if the what number can you multiply 5/6 to get something / 24

5 * (4) / 6 * (4) = X/24

20/24= X/24

and then its simple from there :)

the answer would be c.)20 because whatever you do to one you have to do to the other so since 6 was multiply by 4 to get 24 it is only logical to multiply 5 by 4 to get 20
