How did geography affect the economy of the New England colonies? DUE TONIGHT! I need a paragraph:(

The geography of the north colonies were rocky and had lots of forests, so they made lumber, built ships and made houses. In the South they were near ports and could make trading paths back to england. The middle colonies were dominated by forests, rivers, and lakes which proved to be very useful to the colonies.
