The equation of the line is 2x-5. The gradient is the number that comes before the x, so the slope is 2.

use the point slope formula
( y_(2)- y_(1) )/( x_(2) - x_(1) ) plug in your numbers where 4=x1, 3=y1, 6=x2, and 7=y2
( 7-3)/( 6- 4 )
(4)/(2) } which equals 2
