How do you graph the equation y = 2x + 3?

it has a y intercept of 3 therefore, it needs to pass the y axis through 4 3 and it has a gradient of 2 so you would start at the 4 on the y axis go across 1 and go up and keep doing it. Or cu could

Switch numbers from -2 to 2 into x into the equation to get x and y co-ordinates and then you could plot it. So it would be

when x is -2, y is -1 (-2,-1)

when x is -1, y is 1 (-1, 1)

when x is 0, y is 3 (0,3)

when x is 1, y is 5 (1,5)

when x is 2, y is 7 (2,7)
