What Would You Do?You have been shipwrecked on an island. You meet a god/goddess who

falls in love with you and wants you to stay with them forever. In return

they will make you immortal. However, all you really want to do is get

home and be with your family. What would you choose? Why?

Odysseus chose to return to his home in Ithaca because his love for Penelope was so strong, and he missed his son that he never really got to know. It is definitely an opinion based question, and it is based off of people's values of family or power.

Go home because if you are made immortal, you will keep making the same mistakes for all of eternity. You will watch your family and friends pass on, and you cannot be or go with them. At least going home makes the time you have with them all the more precious.
