What is the value of 5.7×10 to the 8 power

This is standard notation, to set large numbers into a smaller formation use: (ex) 1.2 times 10 to the fourth equals 12000. You put the number on top of ten in zeros behind, minus one to get rid of the decimal.

Basically you just move the decimal 8 places to the right
