Lava is like this thick, hot, and gooey substance. It comes gushing out of the volcano, carrying rocks and other things that were on the surface. The liquid isn't thin like water, it's thick like paint or slime.

well lava isn't just plain liquid for instance water runs through a stream fast but lava contains rocks and other materials so it runs slowly
