Ten slips of paper numbered 1 to 10 are placed in a bag. You draw a slip at random, replace it, then draw another slip. Find the probability that both numbers are odd.

You have a 50% of drawing an odd number on both times because

1,3,5,7,9 are odd numbers
and
2,4,6,8,10 and even numbers

Answer 2

There are 100 possible outcomes (10*10) and only 25 of those are odd both times (5*5 because there are 5 odd numbers) this means that the probability of getting both odd numbers is 25/100 which is 1/4 or 25%
