2.6 = 2.6/1
2.6/1 = 26/10
To simplify you need to find the largest number that goes into both 26 and 10(The GCF). In this case the biggest number that goes into both is 2.
Now divide each by 2
26/2=13
10/2=5
ANSWER:
13/5
