(-1,-1) would be your answer.

It would be: (x,y) = (-1,-1)

-x-2 = 3x+2

3x+x = -2-2

x = -4/4

x = -1

Put that value in 1st equation, y = -(-1)-2 = 1-2 = -1 SOLVED
