Describe the conditions you would most likely find on a mountain in the Rocky Mountains as you moved from the base to the mountain’s summit

At the base of the mountain, you will most likely find grassland. As you proceed higher, you will pass through woodland, mostly pine trees, and then a forest of conifers and spruce. There will be a very high possibility of thickets of deciduous trees growing along stream beds. You will start noticing that the soils are becoming thin as you go higher and only grasses, stunted plant growth and wildflowers will flourish in these soils. Past this vegetation, the winds will start blowing and you will finally see a glacier with snow at the summit of the mountain.
