This question has two parts.

First, find the cost before tax.
$52 game - (20/100) times $52. This subtracts the amount the game is on sale by from the total cost of the game. You get the solution of $41.6. This is the cost of the game after sale, but before tax.

Second, add on the tax.
Now you take $41.6, and add the tax if (6/100) times 41.6, which gives you the solution of $44.096 for the final price of the game.

Therefore, the solution is $44.096

Edit: As was pointed out in the comments of a previous question, you cannot pay a fraction of a cent, and therefore the solution would actually be $44.10 when rounded.

Equation: 52+(52•.20) that is the first part for your answer you should get 10.4 or $10.40. Then you would take 52-10.4=41.60 then keeping that number in mind you do 41.60• .06 and get, rounded, 2.50. Then you would add 41.60+2.50 and get $44.10 as your answer . I hope I could help
