1/6 + 3/8. First we have to find the common denominator. We can find it by finding the least common factor of the two denominators. The least common factor of the two denominators is 24. Now we divided the old denominator, 6 by the 24. 24÷ 6 = 4. Now wee take 4 and multiply it by the numerator, 1. 4 x 1 = 4

This gives us 4/24. We do the same thing to the other fraction which gives us 9/24. Now we can add. 4/24 + 9/24 = 13/24 .

The answer is 13/24

I hope this helps!

Use a calculator and divide the two fractions. 1/6 is 0.16 repeating, 3/8 is 0.375. Adding these two will equal to 0.54166666666.
