Is there any linking verbs in the following sentences if so then what:

This river becomes part of the border between the U.S. and Canada.
Goat Island separates the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls.
A huge amount of water roars over the cliffs every second.
Eighty-five percent of water flows over the Horseshoe falls.

i think every form of be is a linking verb, so becomes would be one
