a math club has 25 members of which 11 are males and the rest are females what is the ratio of males to all clubs members please show

If there are 25 members in the club and 11 males we can conclude that:
Total members=25
male members is=11 and female members=14

No you dont need the female part just the males. So 11 males out of 25 11/25
knowing this you divide 11 by 25 to get that 2 so one out of every three members is a male.

11 to 25, because if your counting 11 and there's 25 in all, then 11 to 25
