I think it is 272. I think this because 30 and 4 is 34, and when a number is right next to a parantheses, it is multiplication. So, 34 multiplied by 8 is 272

8(30+4)=x
240+32=x
272=x
you get the number 240 and 32 by taking the 8 and multiplying it by the numbers in the parenthesis.
so in all your answer would be 272.
