A square has 4 sides. They are all the same. So, I can use 'p' to represent the unknown perimeter:

4p = 292

(4p)/(4) = (292)/(4)

p = 73

Each line is 73 centimeters long

73 cm, the perimeter is all side totals, to to find each side length you just have to divide by 4 since all the sides of a square are the same
