Answer:

I believe that the point of view of this story is helpful to the reader because they can visualize and feel what the narrator is going through during serious and intense moments, such as the rescue mission in this story. Anyone who understands what a rescue mission is would know that it is not an easy task, lots of focus and concentration is needed, and it takes skill and bravery to complete risky tasks. “I shouldn’t think of this as easy. I know what I need to do here, but I could lose one these men if just one thing goes wrong. I’ll hear my petty officer who’s here in the chopper through my earpiece, and he’ll be acting as a second pair of eyes alerting me about anything he thinks I do not see coming. While that’s reassuring, it’s up to me to get those men into this helicopter.” This whole paragraph shows how the narrator expresses there feelings through the story, and how tense they are to know that it is up to them to save the men and get them to safety.

Step-by-step explanation:

This is just what I put, don't copy it completely and try to add your own words to it to avoid plagiarism. I hope this is helpful.
