Once you have a chosen general topic for your research paper, you should do all the following EXCEPT

A. take a side on the issue and stick to it.
B. ask questions like Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? to help you narrow your topic down.
C. make a list of evidence from both sides of the issue so you can be sure to keep both sides even.
