Isandro and Yvette each have a calculator. Yvette starts at 100 and subtracts 7 each time. Isandro on the other hand, starts at zero and adds 3 each time. If they press the keys at the same time, will their displays ever show the same number? if so, what is the number?

Actually, I think the answer would be yes, after pressing the keys 10 times, both their display would show 30.

Yvette's display show 100-7(times the key is pressed) and Isandro's shows 3(times the key is pressed). If we set them equal to each other, they are the same time after 10 times, and the number is 30.

Yes it would be 31. I'm pretty sure. I just divided 97÷3 to get 31 because any other number wouldn't be a whole number.
