We have the equation of the line:

7x+2y=-28

We can find the x-intercept by giving y the value 0 and solving for x:

\begin{gathered} 7x+2\cdot0=-28 \\ 7x=-28 \\ x=-(28)/(7) \\ x=-4 \end{gathered}

In the same way, we can find the y-intercept knowing that x=0 at that point:

\begin{gathered} 7\cdot0+2y=-28 \\ 2y=-28 \\ y=-(28)/(2) \\ y=-14 \end{gathered}

We can check in the graph as:

Answer:

x intercept (-4, 0)

y intercept ( 0, -14)
