Explanation;
A stock is an igneous intrusion that has a surface exposure of less than 100 square kilometers, and differs from batholiths by only being smaller.
Therefore, the difference between "stock" and "batholith" is based on the area exposed at surface. A batholith has a exposed surface area of at least 100 square km, while a stock has an area of less than 100 square km
