L:M:N = 2:3:5
Total no. of shares = 2+3+5 = 10
One share = 1/10
Max's fraction = 3*1/10 = 3/10

The answer is 3 . Ratios come in order. So since you said 2:3:5, since Max was the second name, he would have 3. Lillian would have 2 and Nazia would have 5.
