We have the original point: (5,5).

And the rule for the transformation is: (x+2,y-3).

What this rule is telling us is to add 2 to the x coordinate of the original point, and also subtract 3 from the y coordinate of the original point. This way we will find the new point called "image".

So we apply the rule to the original point:


(5,5)\longrightarrow(5+2,5-3)

As you can see, we follow the rule of adding 2 to the x coordinate and subtracting 3 from the y coordinate. The result is:


(5,5)\longrightarrow(7,2)

Answer: The image point is (7,2), option A.
