√2x=4. We need to solve for x. First, to get ride of the radical, let's square both sides: (√2x)^2 = 4^2; 2x = 16; Now divide both sides 2 to get the variable alone on a side and its value on the other side: (2x)/2 = 16/2 X=8. Hope this helps! :)
