Answer: I believe that the entrance of the rhinoceros in the entrance most likely foreshadows the idea of what the rhinoceros. This quickly spread as the second one kills a cat. By the time people realize everyone starts turning into a rhinoceros themselves. They represent fascism tyranny in the form of an epidemic. The only one in the end of this story who remains unchanged.
