1000^(5) is the same as 1000 x 1000 x 1000 x 1000 x 1000.

For this you can just count the number of 0's present. There are 15 zeroes present, so this is the number of zeroes you add on.


1000^(5) = 1 000 000 000 000 000

Also, inputting this into your calculator will also give you the answer.

The answer in scientific notation is 1 * 10 to the 15 power.

The result is 1,000,000,000,000,000.

In word form its one quadrillion.
