Step 1. Find the Least Common Denominator (LCD) of
(2)/(5) , (3)/(10)

Method 1: By Listing Multiples
List out all multiples of each denominator, and find the first common one.

Multiples of 5: 5, 10.....

Multiples of 10: 10,.....

Therefore, The (LCD) is 10.

Method 2: By Prime Factors.
List all prime factors of each denominator, and find the union of these primes.

Prime factors of 5: 5

Prime factors of 10: 2, 5

Therefore, the LCD is
2*5=10

LCD = 10

Step 2. Make the denominators the same as the LCD

(2*2)/(5*2) + (3)/(10)

Step 3.
Simplify. Denominators are now the same

(4)/(10) + (3)/(10)

Step 4.
Join the denominators

(4+3)/(10)

Step 5. Simplify

(7)/(10)

Done! :)

7/10

Because you have to have a least common denominator which is 10. and what you do to the bottom you have to do to the top you muct do to the bottom. So Therefore Multiply 5 by 2 to get 10 and do the same to the 2, the 2 will become 4. add the 4 and the 3 to get 7 over 10
