BIDMAS

15+10-8-12-2
= 25-8-12-2
=17-12-2
=5-2
=3

Solution:

Given:

15-(-10)+(-8)-12+(-2)

Since we have multiple operations, we solve using PEMDAS or BODMAS.

where;

\begin{gathered} P=\text{Parentheses} \\ E=Exponents \\ M=\text{Multiplication} \\ D=\text{Division} \\ A=\text{Addition} \\ S=\text{Subtraction} \end{gathered}

\begin{gathered} B=\text{Bracket} \\ O=\text{Order} \\ D=\text{Division} \\ M=\text{Multiplication} \\ A=\text{Addition} \\ S=\text{Subtraction} \end{gathered}

From the above order, we solve the parentheses (or brackets first) using the directed number multiplication of signs.

Recall that;

\begin{gathered} +*+=+ \\ -*-=+ \\ +*-=- \\ -*+=- \end{gathered}

Hence,

\begin{gathered} 15-(-10)+(-8)-12+(-2) \\ =15+10-8-12-2 \\ =25-8-12-2 \\ =17-12-2 \\ =5-2 \\ =3 \end{gathered}

Therefore,

15-(-10)+(-8)-12+(-2)=3

The answer is 3.
