What are the factors of 72 and 96?

so the factors are the numbers that make up the number so (exg factors of 6 are 2 and 3)
3*2 means 3 times 2

72=2*2*2*3*3
96=4*4*3*2*2*2

we can see that the common factor is (3*2*2*2 or 24)

The factors are what the number is divisible by.
72- 1,2,3,4,6,8,9,12,18,24,36,72
96- 1,2,3,4,6,8,12,16, 24, 32, 48, 96

The common factors are 1,2,3,4,6,8,12 and 24.
