How do you solve 5/8a-27=-7

First of all you need to get rid of the -27 on the left side, to do so you add 27 to both sides so it becomes:
5/8a=20
Now you can divide it by 5 to get:
1/8a=4
Now multiply it by 8 to get:
a=32
