steps:
you divide the shape into two so the first shape you have a rectangle it's height is 6 and length 5 thn u use the area formula which is length * height thn you substitute the numbers into the formula so you do 6*5 to find the first shape which is 30
thn the second it's height is 6 and length is 10+5 which is 15 times them together 6*15=90
thn add the two answers together 90+30=120

You find the area of the two rectangles.

You add the areas of the two together which would get you 120
