b - 4 > 4
Add 4 to both sides to get the variable b on a side and its value on the other side:
b - 4 + 4 > 4+4
b > 8.

So b - 4 > 4 when b > 8.
So every single number above 8.0 is a solution of the inequality. So we can translate to an interval answer:
b - 4 > 4 for b = [8, +∞[
The interval is always opened from the ∞ side because ∞ is not actually a real number

Hope this Helps! :)

b - 4>4
Add 4 to both sides so that the only thing remaining on the left side is the variable b
Final Answer: b>8
