Find the gradient of line y - 5x = -5? what?! please explain (-_-

This formula can also be written as y - y 1 = m ( x - x 1 ) . The standard form of the straight line equation is y = m x + c where m is the gradient and c is the y-intercept.

so now what you want to do is plug it all in together

Use the slope-intercept form y=mx+b to find the slope m and y-intercept b.Slope: 5Y-Intercept: 5
