A farmer produce 200 pounds of corn each day. If he wants to increase his production by 10%, how many more pounds of corn will he need to produce each day to reach his goal?

To find the 10% we use the rule of three:


\begin{gathered} 200\rightarrow100 \\ x\rightarrow10 \end{gathered}

Then:


x=(10\cdot200)/(100)=20

Therefore he has to produce 20 more punds to reach his goal.
