The domain of a function is all values of x the function can assume.

Since the function has a fraction and the denominator of a fraction can't be zero, so we have the following condition:


\begin{gathered} x-6\\e0 \\ x\\e6 \end{gathered}

Since x can be all real numbers except 6, the domain is the following set:


(-\text{inf,}6)\cup(6,\text{inf)}
