Answer: A - King Richard the Lionheart.

In The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer, the Monk's tale includes several figures in History and their tragedies. The King Richard the Lionheart is not include in this tale. He was the son of king Henry II, and became the king of England. After his coronation he went to the Third Crusade to free the Holy Land from the turks.
