You would tell them everything is going to be okay, and that if they need to talk to someone or tell someone how they feel or what they are going through that you are always there for them. Tell them about something that maybe tramatized you as a child so thert know that thye are not alone and everyone goes through hard times and it will get better. I HOPE THIS HELPs
