when a decimal number is divided by 10 , the decimal point moves to the left one place and a zero will be added to the immediate right side of the decimal point. for instance,if 0.85 is divided by 10, the answer is 0.085

When\ dividing\ by\ ten,\ we\ know\ that\ the\ decimal\ always\ moves\ one\\ place\ to\ the\ left.\ Example:\\ 10.24 / 10 = 1.024
