1.Write a function rule for the area of a rectangle with a length of 3 ft. more than two times it’s width. What is the area of the rectangle when its width is 4 feet?

A = (w)(2w+3)

or


A = 2w^(2) + 3w

When w = 4 feet


A = 2(4)^2 + 3(4)


A = 2(16) +12


A = 32 + 12 = 44 feet
